Green Lantern, is a name referring to intergalactic peace-keepers and members of the Green Lantern Corps. The Green Lanterns wear green, glowing rings and is divided into their sectors where they were born to protect solely that sector. The most famous Green Lanterns all hail from Sector 2814, (earth's sector), and is known to all be humans. Sector 2814's known to have a inconcistent history with varying back-ups, and in this current timeline there is four Green Lantern's; Hal Jordan, His original back-up Guy Gardner, Gardner's back-up John Stewart and the only remaining lantern after the corps temporary destruction; Kyle Rayner. A magic-based Green Lantern, called Alan Scott, was active during the 1940s, and is still active now, in present day.
